Privacy Policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
Attorney review pending. This policy describes what we actually do today. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney, and it may be revised after that review. The date above will change when it is.
This policy explains what NewFrontDesk collects on newfrontdesk.com and how it is used. NewFrontDesk is in preview and has no customers yet, so most of this policy is about this website.
The setup request form
When you send the setup request form (earlier called the early access form), we save:
- What you type: your name, business name, email, optional phone number, business type and notes.
- Your consent: the exact wording next to the checkbox and the time you agreed.
- The page you sent the form from, the page that referred you to our site, and campaign tags in the link you followed, if any.
- Your browser type, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that we use to block spam. We do not store the IP address itself with your request.
We use this to contact you about your request and to understand what businesses need from the product. Requests are stored on a server we rent in the United States and can be read only by the owner of NewFrontDesk.
When you send a request, we email you a confirmation at the address you gave, sent through Gmail. When a request arrives, the owner gets an email alert, sent through Gmail. The alert contains only your business name and business type. Your name, email address, phone number and notes are not in it.
The weekly guide by email
If you sign up for the weekly guide, we save your email address, the exact wording you agreed to, the time, the page you signed up on, and a scrambled version of your IP address used to block spam. We use it only to email you the guide. Every guide email has a link that unsubscribes you in one click, and you are shown that link when you sign up. If you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email record so we don't email you again.
The demo
The demo on this site is plain code that runs in your browser and shows pre-written sample replies. No AI is involved. What you type into it stays in your browser: it is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not saved.
Cookies, tracking and other technical data
- This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or outside analytics services.
- We count page views and button clicks on our own server so we can see which pages help: the page, the step (visit, click, form started, form sent, thank-you page, quiz finished), a short label such as the button's words, and the day. We do not store your IP address, a visitor ID or anything that follows you from page to page. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted.
- The quizzes and the calculator run in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us. If you share a result link, the answers are in the link.
- Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact any other company's servers.
- Our network provider (Cloudflare) and hosting provider (Hetzner) process basic technical data such as IP address and browser type in order to deliver and protect the site.
Our contact address is [email protected], a Google mailbox. Messages sent to hello@ or [email protected] are forwarded to our inbox through Cloudflare.
What we don't do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
The web chat and contact form we provide to businesses
NewFrontDesk provides a chat box and a contact form that a business can put on its own website. When you use one, what you type (your name, phone number, optional email and what you need), whether you ticked the consent box and its exact wording, the page you sent it from, and a scrambled version of your IP address used to block spam are saved in that business's own lead inbox on our server. Each business's leads are kept in a separate data file that other businesses cannot open. We handle this information on that business's behalf, to deliver the lead to it; we do not use it for our own marketing, sell it, or use it to train AI models. To see, correct or delete it, contact that business, or write to us at [email protected].
When a lead arrives, the business can get an email alert from us. The alert says that a lead arrived and links to the business's inbox. It does not contain your name, phone number or message.
Today only test accounts with made-up businesses use these features, and the chat involves no AI.
Missed calls and texts handled for businesses
NewFrontDesk does not send texts for any business yet. The text-back feature runs in test mode only, with made-up phone numbers. Before any real texts are sent, this section will be expanded and customer terms published.
Texting and opting out
We do not send texts from this website. When the service launches, texts will go only to people who contacted the business or agreed to receive them, and replying STOP will opt a person out permanently.
How long we keep it
Setup requests are kept until we launch or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent to be emailed, by writing to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
