Front desk for real estate agents and teams
A buyer texts about your listing while you're mid-showing.
Sign calls and listing inquiries don't wait until you have a minute. NewFrontDesk texts back the calls you miss, takes details by chat on your website, and puts every lead in one inbox for you to pick up.
NewFrontDesk is in preview, and no payment is taken until the features in your plan work. This page describes how it is designed to work for real estate agents and teams. See what's built today.
Where leads slip away
Three moments an agent loses the lead
You're in a showing or a closing
The phone is face down for an hour. The inquiry from the yard sign goes to voicemail.
How the text back works →Evenings and weekends
That's when buyers browse and reach out, and when you'd like an hour off.
How web chat takes the details →The same five questions
Is it still available? When can I see it? Each one is a lead, and each one interrupts something.
How web chat takes the details →What you get
Text back, chat, one inbox
Each card says where that feature stands today.
Missed-call text-back
A sign call you missed during a showing gets a text from your business number, so the buyer hears from you before they call the next agent.
- On both plans
- No texts between 9 PM and 8 AM: a call missed overnight gets its text at 8 AM.
- Today: rules work in test mode. It cannot send a real text yet
Web chat
The chat on your website asks which listing they're asking about, whether they're buying or selling, and when they'd like to talk.
- On both plans. Plain questions, no AI
- Today: working, with test businesses only
Lead inbox
Every chat, form and missed call lands in one list with the conversation attached, so you start each callback with context.
- On both plans. A separate account for each business
- Today: working, with test businesses only
On Pro: AI replies and follow-ups. Being built, and not in any plan: AI that answers incoming calls. See the plans.
On the Pro plan
AI replies that take the details
When someone texts back, AI replies are designed to keep the conversation going until you're free, and to always say they're AI. They are not in the app yet.
Details the chat and AI replies collect
- Name and callback number
- Which listing or address they're asking about
- Whether they're buying, selling or both
- Preferred times for a showing or a call
- Whether they're already working with an agent
See a sample conversation in the demo.
What it won't do
- It won't cold call or cold text anyone. No lead lists, no expired listings, no for-sale-by-owner outreach. Inbound only.
- It won't answer questions about who lives in a neighborhood, schools "for families like ours", safety or anything else that touches fair housing. Those go to you.
- It won't give opinions on value, negotiate, or screen or qualify people for housing.
- It won't answer anything about a listing beyond the facts you entered.
The rules every plan follows are on How it works.
A buyer calls from the yard sign. You're mid-showing.
Text back · automatic · both plans"Hi, this is Dana Holt Realty. Sorry we missed your call. Text us which home you're asking about and we'll get right back to you. Reply STOP to opt out."
Customer · 6:40 PM"Is the house on Pinecrest still available? Could we see it Saturday?"
AI reply · Pro plan"I'm the AI assistant for Dana Holt Realty. Yes, 14 Pinecrest Ln is listed as active. I can pass a Saturday showing request to Dana. What time works, and what's your name?"
Customer"Marcus. Late morning if possible."
AI reply · Pro plan"Thanks, Marcus. I've sent Dana your request for a Saturday late-morning showing at 14 Pinecrest Ln. She'll confirm the time with you at this number."
DEMO · sample conversation written by us, not a real customer"Dana Holt Realty" is a made-up business. The first text is missed-call text-back, which is on both plans. The replies after it are AI replies, which are on the Pro plan and always say they're AI.

- Consent recorded with each leadWhether the visitor ticked the box, the exact wording, and when.

- Missed-call text-backThe rules work in test mode: each business's own number and opt-out list, no texts from 9 PM to 8 AM, one text per caller per day. Ready-made messages per trade and a preview tool are in the app. It cannot send a real text yet. That needs a real number per business, the sending step, and each business's carrier registration.
- AI replies (Pro)Not in the app yet. A reply engine exists in our older software and is being rewritten so it always says it's AI.
- Follow-ups (Pro)Not in the app yet. Email follow-up sequences exist in our older software.
- Up to 3 locations (Pro)Not built.
- AI that answers incoming callsNot in any plan. An early rule-based voice prototype exists in our older software and is switched off.

Status checked on October 7, 2026 against the running app and its automated tests. "Working today" means it works on our server with test accounts; it does not mean a customer is using it. Nobody is yet, which is why we take no payment yet. An attorney review comes before any real business uses it.

Questions
Real estate questions
Can it follow up with my old leads or a list I bought?
No. NewFrontDesk only responds to people who contact you first. It will never place AI calls, and it won't text anyone who hasn't reached out or agreed to hear from you.
Does it pull listing details from the MLS?
No. There is no MLS connection. It would answer only from the listing facts you enter yourself.
How does it handle fair housing?
By staying out of it. The design is for the AI to stick to listing facts and scheduling, and to hand anything about neighborhoods, people or eligibility to you. Our terms also prohibit using the service to make housing decisions.
Does it work with my CRM?
Not today. Leads are saved in your NewFrontDesk inbox, and an email tells you one arrived. Integrations are being considered for after launch.
Does it answer my phone?
No. It texts back the calls you miss; it doesn't answer them. AI call answering is being built and is not in any plan.
