Front desk for cleaning companies
Quote requests come in while your hands are full.
People asking for a cleaning quote usually contact two or three companies. NewFrontDesk texts back the calls you miss, takes the details by chat on your website, and puts every lead in one inbox.
NewFrontDesk is in preview, and no payment is taken until the features in your plan work. This page describes how it is designed to work for cleaning companies. See what's built today.
Where leads slip away
Three moments a cleaning company loses the booking
You're mid-job
Gloves on, vacuum running. The quote request sits for three hours and someone else answers first.

People look for a cleaner after work, when your day is done.

Text back, chat, one inbox
Each card says where that feature stands today.
Missed-call text-back
A quote call you missed mid-job gets a text from your business number, so the customer knows you'll get back to them.
- On both plans
- No texts between 9 PM and 8 AM: a call missed overnight gets its text at 8 AM.
- Today: rules work in test mode. It cannot send a real text yet
Web chat
The chat on your website asks for home size, type of clean, ZIP code and preferred day: what you need to price the job.
- On both plans. Plain questions, no AI
- Today: working, with test businesses only
Lead inbox
Every chat, form and missed call lands in one list, so you can send quotes when you're done for the day.
- On both plans. A separate account for each business
- Today: working, with test businesses only
On Pro: AI replies and follow-ups. Being built, and not in any plan: AI that answers incoming calls. See the plans.
On the Pro plan
AI replies that take the details
When someone texts back, AI replies are designed to keep the conversation going until you're free, and to always say they're AI. They are not in the app yet.
Details the chat and AI replies collect
- Name and callback number
- Address or ZIP code
- Home size: bedrooms and bathrooms
- Type of clean: regular, deep, move-in or move-out
- Pets, and preferred days
See a sample conversation in the demo.
What it won't do
- It won't quote a price you haven't given it.
- It won't confirm a booking on its own at first. You confirm the time.
- It won't text past customers with promotions unless they've agreed to marketing texts.
The rules every plan follows are on How it works.
A customer calls for a quote. Your day ended an hour ago.
Text back · automatic · both plans"Hi, this is Bright Home Cleaning. Sorry we missed your call. Text us what you need cleaned and we'll get back to you with a quote. Reply STOP to opt out."
Customer · 8:05 PM"How much for a deep clean? 3 bed 2 bath."
AI reply · Pro plan"I'm the AI assistant for Bright Home Cleaning. Happy to help with a deep clean quote. What's your ZIP code, do you have pets, and is there a day you're hoping for?"
Customer"75002, one dog, next Friday if you can."
AI reply · Pro plan"Thanks. Deep clean, 3 bed 2 bath, 75002, one dog, hoping for next Friday. I've sent this to the owner, who will text you a quote and confirm availability."
DEMO · sample conversation written by us, not a real customer"Bright Home Cleaning" is a made-up business. The first text is missed-call text-back, which is on both plans. The replies after it are AI replies, which are on the Pro plan and always say they're AI.

- Missed-call text-backThe rules work in test mode: each business's own number and opt-out list, no texts from 9 PM to 8 AM, one text per caller per day. Ready-made messages per trade and a preview tool are in the app. It cannot send a real text yet. That needs a real number per business, the sending step, and each business's carrier registration.
- AI replies (Pro)Not in the app yet. A reply engine exists in our older software and is being rewritten so it always says it's AI.
- Follow-ups (Pro)Not in the app yet. Email follow-up sequences exist in our older software.
- Up to 3 locations (Pro)Not built.
- AI that answers incoming callsNot in any plan. An early rule-based voice prototype exists in our older software and is switched off.

Status checked on October 7, 2026 against the running app and its automated tests. "Working today" means it works on our server with test accounts; it does not mean a customer is using it. Nobody is yet, which is why we take no payment yet. An attorney review comes before any real business uses it.

Questions
Cleaning questions
Can it give instant quotes?
Only from prices or ranges you give it, in AI replies on the Pro plan. The design is that it never makes up a number. If you haven't set a range, it collects the details and tells the customer you'll follow up.
Can it book recurring cleans?
Not at first. AI booking into your calendar is planned for later. Near term, it hands you the request and you confirm.
Can it send reminders to my regular customers?
Reminders are not on the committed list yet. If we add them, promotional texts would go only to people who agreed to marketing messages, and anyone could reply STOP.
I'm a solo cleaner. Is this too much for me?
Solo operators are who we have in mind: you can't answer while you're working. Starter is the plan for one location, with missed-call text-back, web chat and the lead inbox.
Does it answer my phone?
No. It texts back the calls you miss; it doesn't answer them. AI call answering is being built and is not in any plan.
